I have installed a set of LT headers(i was running before without cats), i have not see a drop in boost, the boost remain the same, how do you guys explain that?

 

How are you logging boost? What did you have before exhaust wise?

 

headers take away boost, you need a bigger pulley to compensate for the loss of boost

 

i have a digital gauge tapped in the intake manifold.
before i was running stock exhaust but without cats.
i have E55 intake as mentioned in my signature.

 

i was saying that i did not lost boost.

 

because u already removed the cats before, thats what i understand, or maybe your LT are not big enough, what is the collecter size ? i think if you make it 3" you will loose some boost.

i didn't go for LT after my setup because i dont think i will get that much gain if i get any at all.

 

1.75", collector 2.5", yes i think maybe cause of cats.
