An observation...has anyone checked into an MB Extended Warranty? No deductible, and from MB. Something to check into, I have an MB 7/100 myself.

SL55 AMG
Dunno if Chrysler service contracts (CSR) are being offered anymore...if gotten one through Mike Case for my SL500 and the one on the SL55 was the same CSR but I called in directly and got it done through Chrysler Service Contracts themselves, a rep named Todd. The provisions and rates may have changes but they were selling to AMG cars at that time.

sorry about confusion. I tried to purchase warranty thru Mike but he emailed me saying that he does not offer the warranty for MB anymore. So I thought that Chrysler does not offer it for MB anymore. However when I called the Chrysler directly, I found out that they still offer them but at higher rate than Mike used to offer.
again I am sorry for the confusion.

It depends on how many miles you put on your car.(at least that is what I got from SA) Easy care covers more things than MB(ELW)
I will get full least of MB(ELW) coverage next week.

From what I recall, it was very close as to what is/is not covered. Factor in the the deductible from Easy Care, which in my case of comparison (when I was in the process of choosing a warranty) was about $250 per incident. MB ded $0. That is a major factor to look at, no?

Damn. I got mine from Chrysler on the 19th.
Then...just because I had spoken to Easy Care on the phone and authorized an inspection back on the 10th...Easy Care went ahead and charged me for one as well. Do a search on Easy Care and you'll see the story if anyone is interested. Easy Care supposedly has a very good reputation - but just yesterday I received a contract in the mail with a copy for a bill for $3996 and a note with a "Verbal Authorization" on the 19th...and the last time I had spoken to them was 5/14. Of course it was illegal and the girl who did it will probably lose her job. It's been a huge pain in the a$$ to get my money back because she did the transaction on my debit card.

I got my warranty at RBM of Atlanta, ask for Sabrina O' Donnell if you wish to call there first.

That said, a year ago the 4-year, unlimited mileage, $100 deductible "Max Care" CSC contract was ~$3,800. So, they've obviously adjusted their rates upwards... probably from an analysis of their premiums collected vs. actual claims paid.
IMHO, it's still a bargain, given how comprehensive the coverage is. YMMV, of course, but mine has already paid for itself roughly 2x over. And I have a lot of coverage left... good for peace of mind.

Contact info?
Read this thread a few times and tried the one number listed to get the price on the chrysler plan I called the number that was in michael's response but wasn't able to get through the menu to get a price ..
What number are you calling to get pricing/purchase the warranty under the Chrysler plan ?
I have an 07 e63 and wanted to get a service contract before i hit 50k miles .. (at 44k now) and am not the original owner so wasnt able to do the cpo program.

I went to the Chrysler Service Contracts website and tried the online purchase option for MaxCare. After entering my VIN, model year (2006), and mileage (28,000), it said the plan was not available for my car.
Here's the link: https://www.chrysler.com/en/service_...edirect=true/#

Update
I looked online at the Chrysler plan and called the number to no avail. I did however call my local Chrysler dealer and ask about the Max car unlimited mileage warranty and they knew exactly what I was talking about.
They really only ask me to come in and check out the paperwork and I did..
I was able to get the warranty locally for $3502 for the max care warranty 3 year unlimited that covers something like 5000+ compenents .. they told me and showed me it all and basically said unless it was wear and tear items that it was covered. (my car is a 2007 e63 amg with ~44k miles)
Not sure what others paid but I gobbled this up I figure for unlimited miles it was a safe bet and it only had a $100 deductible which is fine with me.
Hopefully this helps someone but the peace of mind for 3 years is staggering compared to the 3500 bucks.

I spoke with Michael Case this week and he said that Chrysler was no longer writing warranties on any Mercedes. Supposedly they've been hit with multiple very expensive claims and are reevaluating MB warranties - he gave an example of a $25K claim within 60 days of warranty start.
I'm a few months out of MB factory warranty so MB isn't an option.
I'm talking with Fidelity right now about a warranty from Enterprise Financial as they have what sounds like a good deal - $3500 for 4 years/75K miles $100 deductible and also includes tire & wheel road hazard and paintless dent removal.
Anyone have experience with Enterprise Financial or Fidelity Automotive Solutions?

2003 E55 AMG
I'm with "Direct Buy Warranty" and so far they have been great. They only have a $50 deductible if you pay in payments and if you pay in full there is no deductible. They also have no cap on warranty payout so if you have a big bill you will be covered and I'm not positive on their approved labor rates, but I can confirm personally that they covered all of the labor from my independent Mercedes shop that is somewhere around $100/hr.
A bit on my personal experience with Direct Buy Warranty:
I purchased my maximum care plan through them on the 23rd of last month (April), mainly because like others, I had heard that the Chrysler warranty was no longer viable. In hindsight, back then it was still available but I didn't do my own research and this cost me a Chrysler warranty...lesson learned. Direct Buy Warranty has a 30 day waiting period and a 50 mile driving requirement before your warranty is valid, basically to ensure against any pre-warranty conditions. They also cover the supercharger and airmatic on the E55 as well as the turbos on the 600's and 65's, which is a big plus as a lot of aftermarket warranties will exclude these items.
On the 24th of this month, literally the day my warranty was validated, my car started making squeaks in the front suspension and I thought "great, surely the warranty company is going to deny my claim because I'm using my warranty the day it is valid". After debating on whether or not I should make the warranty claim or not, I decided what the heck, I'm in the right, so if needed I would explain to them the deal and hopefully they would agree.
I turn my keys over to the mechanics at Carlsbad Exclusive Auto in Carlsbad, CA (they have worked on all of my amg's in the past and do absolutely excellent work), and anxiously await their phone call for not only what the issue with the front suspension, but whether or not the problem would be covered by warranty. About 2 hours later I get a call from Liz at the shop and she informs me that the issue is my front passenger bushings, totaling about $700 parts and labor and that my warranty covered it.
In short, Direct Buy Warranty held up their end of the bargain and paid for all of the repairs and so far I'm completely satisfied with them. I purchased their 3 year, unlimited mileage plan and if I recall correctly it was ~$2600 otd.

Just got a quote from Michael Case last week on my 06 E55. $2,400 for three more years, $200 deductable. MB wanted almost 4 K and was fewer miles.
