Call Chrysler Warrant no for Mercedes Benz's

Ok I am not trying to start another thread about extended warranties but I been shopping around for one. So I call the Chrysler warranty the one all the people here seem to have. I call that number listed in some of the threads and they told me they don't offer it for Mercedes just for Chryslers. I call twice and both said no for Mercedes Benz. So either I am smoking the wrong stuff or what number are you guys calling? I have an 2003 E55 with 65k on it. Even before I say the mileage I say Mercedes they say no. Also where can I get one that will say yes? I try everyone from fidelity which i got an email saying that no extended warranty covers the AMG motor. And all the others I read off the ripoffreport and visit the BBB and they all are so damn scammers. I know because I got a great deal on Mogi extended warranty that I wanted to see if the stories were true about how rude and pushy they are, that I put down a deposit for $5 to hold my warranty while I deposited money into my account. An hour later I call tell them I want to cancel and they give me this lecture on the car which I did not understood, they transfer me over to 2 people one guy was an A-hole trying to tell me the car is going to go bad becuase of the turbo and I kept telling him is a superchager he said is the same thing. Then to a girl who was nice but kept me on the phone for 25 minutes just to get $5 back. I just want to know where, what number, and who? Thank you all so much.

fwiw, Harold Zeigler is just a car dealer. One of many places selling Chrysler ELWs. That website has been around for a while and it may not be current.

But I also heard (here somewhere, I think) that Chrysler stopped selling ELWs for AMGs

Anybody have a direct line to Chrysler's Michael Case? He'd know the answer.

you can call any chrysler dodge dealership and they'll give you a quote. I have been shopping around the whole last week and received quite a few quotes so yes, they are still offering the warranty.

Michael Case is now selling Ford Factory Plans. He just gave me a quote for Range Rover, I'm considering purchasing.

Just from another dealer?

Someone must have done the math.

Hmmm, let's see while scratching his head.
$3000 warranty=$10k in repairs.

So are they not offering it for all Mercedes-Benz or only AMG vehicles? Has this been confirmed

Hopefully, I got in before this no-sell to MB, as they charged my card for 3 year warranty.

So Michael Case is at Zeigler's dealership? Somebody here implied that he was with Chrysler Corp.

It sounds like his dealership isn't interested in selling any more Chrysler ELWs and is now selling 'Ford Factory Plans' instead.

Does anybody really know if Chrysler themselves have quit selling MB/AMG ELWs?

He's always been a third-party dealer... it was pretty well covered in the massive "Chrysler Warranty" thread. I called Chrysler directly and ordered through Todd, who is also mentioned in that thread. No problems, but it was after they imposed the "need an inspection from a dealer service dept" - and was not quite a year ago. No idea if they're still offering them, but these "CSC stopped offering to cover MBs!" rumors have popped up before... only to be proven wrong. So, who knows?

Correct, Michael is not with Zeigler, but is an independent broker for Chrysler. I left him a vmail and will see if he says the same thing as what AkxSpyO wrote.

Guys, got an email back from Michael Chase. He directed me to his blog.

MB Vehicles Still Eligible For Chrysler Coverage?

May 10, 2010 · 2 Comments

There seems to be some confusion (mis-information) on the various MB forums concerning the availability of Chrysler Service Contracts for Mercedes-Benz vehicles (and if we are still selling these): the answer is YES. We do require that the vehicle be within its original 4 year/50k mile factory warranty; or within the CPO portion. If the vehicle is beyond this coverage, there is a used vehicle inspection required.

There you go, from the horse's mouth.

Where can we buy these warranty services online?
Or do all Chrysler Dealerships offer them?
