Bought New 19" Forgestars and New Nitto Invo Tires
Hey everyone. Since most people seem to be making threads regarding their wheels I will continue to the tradition. Today I bought the piano black forgestar wheels with the sizes 19x8.5 and 19x10. I also bought brand new Nitto Invo Tires in the sizes 245/30/19 and 285/30/19; I heard the Nitto Invo's were really good from doing research and checking reviews. I still have to wait six weeks to get the rims and everything but I am excited to have my order in! Anybody want to congratulate me, jk lol.

Haha. I wish I had the problem of living in Hawaii. Do they have discount tire in Hawaii? If so, discount tire will only charge you $100 for shipping and they will cover the rest of the cost, that is what they did for me.
BTW, Neoii, I believe you are correct on the tire specs, I was just going off memory of what the invoice said which I obviously was wrong. I do not know anything about tires, durrr.

You have a good point as I love living in Hawaii. But really shipping anything here is a pain, especially four wheels. It would probably take an extra two weeks to get here.
As for a discount tire? I don't recall ever seeing one down here on Oahu. I could be wrong? $100 Shipping??

actually, i think 255/35 is the better choice.
it sounds like you got a decent price. may also want to check with rob at element motorsports in the future for rims and tires. he beats everyone's price (including online) when i'm in there!!!

E55 w/ goods, Z32 Project underway
245/35/19s are the closest to stock diameters for the fronts. 255s will give a tad more cushion to protect the wheels though.

Also, for those talking about HI, I go there every few months and am sick and tired of it. Granted it is for work. Beautiful, absolutely! Stunning actually in the remote areas where people seldom go. But to drive-the worst anywhere.
Nobody drives faster than 35mph and even the main roads are caped at 50mph. People are just relaxed and take their sweet time. This is on Maui and Kona. Cannot comment on the other islands though. I wanted to rent one of those yellow Vettes there this entire time but remember how frustrating is was just to drive around in the Camry.
Great place to visit, but not to drive.

Got my forgestars today!!!!! It took exactly 9 weeks from the actual day the order was paid to delivery. I am thrilled I did not have to wait 6 months and sorry for those, cough, who did.
