Unhappy Has this happened to you?

On the way home, the air conditioning ran up to max on its own and then quit. The display showed "zero" on both the passenger and driver side. I could not get AC to come back on. It just showed "AC Off" on display. Also, display on right was stuck at 0 and I could not change. After I stopped and restarted car, dispaly returned to normal but still no AC.

Dealer picking up car tomorrow. Do you know if covered by Mercury Platinum under extended warranty?

Thanks.

Unfortunately, I still don't have air conditioning or I would ignore as well. I am constantly getting "take to shop" alerts and they usually go away on their own. Interestingly, I have no error codes for this problem.

Any thoughts by anyone as to wether this problem is covered under extended warranties?

Thanks all.

It all depends on your warranty. I would expect that your warranty should cover any and all A/C repairs. If they don't I would get your money back and get a different warranty that does.

+1 I would think most decent warranties would cover this.
