What i did since slips posted in first post:

- bolted on vrp shorties - there is a leak somewhere so not sure if Im getting max power

- sanded down the innards of my 16" rim because I noticed marks from the caliper so they had to have been touching and causing resistance

- grille removal

- jacked rear suspension only

- aligned the suspension - always had the wheel cocked a little to the left to go straight, now its straightened out. MPG shot up too, so there had to have been some drag

traps went from 115.8 to 118.3.

have the same exact problem with the 16 inch ccw rear drag pack . i shaved down the noise sensor on the brake pads , a **** hairs clearance now

UPDATE, went tonight:

- Fixed exhaust leak at driver side header/stock exhaust flange
- Put on the s55 Air snorkel
- Stock TB grind mod

Best was 11.71@120.03

60' was a 1.75

Slip is in the car, which car died while driving back, and is abandoned- I think its the alternator. Cant hold power, headlights go out, ESP malfunction, Brake malfunction, no radio, no defroster.

Congrats on hitting 11's and trapping into the 120's. Sorry to hear about the electrical issue though, but it does sound like an alternator or battery problem.

This was in manual mode by the way: my car doesnt hit the limiter in manual, but when I did the sneaky ecu reset one time, I noticed the shifts were faster in manual, than it was in sport.

So that run was in manual mode and I was pleasantly surprised.

3 of the slips. I didnt bring ice this time, and i think the alternator issue was kicking in on the last runs as the shifts were a bit delayed.

Very nice run!

It's always nice to see another E55 hitting the track and getting actual numbers that count.

This is back when I have the RennTech 168mm pulley, RennTech tune, Headers, custom intake, and 82mm tb. Also, my car is 87K miles and in 85 degree weather. I have not have a chance to run my car since the retune and 180mm pulley yet. Hopefully soon.

Strong run AWOL! Congrats.

Not to thread jack, just so everyone is aware, those CLK 16" rims are not a direct bolt on for the E55. They need a little modifying, special lug bolts and spacers to work on an E55.
