Road trip photos
The numbers on the map dont have any significance, just where I needed them to make the software draw the route correctly. It was about 3500mi. The photos are in Texas, Colorado, and Utah.
Texas, just north of Amarillo
I-70 rest stop in Colorado, approaching Grand Junction
Just got into Utah, still on I-70
The rest of these are in Arches National Park in Moab, UT
There were many more amazing spots along the drive, but the car got very very dirty and the weather turned bad; I went through a lot of rain.

Looks like you cut off the nicest part of the 4 corners area, South west colorado. Either way great pics and it looked like you had fun and thats all that counts.

Wow! I thought driving from Columbus, Ohio to Phoenix was a long trip, but you take the cake. It is amazing how much ground you can cover in a short period of time in a fine engineered automobile.

No tire problems thankfully. I did have one minor issue with a headlight, the cover came off the back and some water got in, so it didnt work for a while and I thought the ballast was toast after swapping the igniter and bulb, but it dried off and came back on.

The locals (wink wink) sure get on my nerves sometimes but gotta admit, ole Ute is the prettiest state I have ever lived in.
Glad you got to see that I 70 run coming out of Colorado near Moab. Takes your breath away.
SO GLAD you went to Arches National. I have tried and tried and STILL can't take a picture that matches the beauty of some of those scenes in there. I get home and say "Mannn that isn't even close"
Feels like you are staring at a massive postcard sometimes.
What did you think of the little road you have to go up to get there. Not a whole lot of guardrails out here. Just straight down!

Do these locals arm themselves with green jello and funeral potatoes? I bet you get all your grocery shopping done on that second day of the weekend.

I visited Arches years ago and was so impressed that I just had to go back. That and the I-70 route through Colorado and Utah are like nothing else I've driven.

Great pics! I will try and do the same. How did the car hold up on the trip? I noticed you have one of the "higher" mileage cars. I am sure it was fine, but some people's threads and responses worry me sometimes.
