I may remove xpipe and put in a hpipe to make the sound more deeper.
I'll have a video up soon too of the incredible start up. Which I always have my door open for.

so if you are driving normally, is it any louder? or is it just louder when you give it 50% or more throttle?
Also, to the general forum, my neighbor has a W212 E63 and that thing sounds AMAZING. his is bone stock too, so whats different in their exhaust and our W211 E63's???

yes there is crackling and popping sounds when you decel from at least like 3k rpms and just let off the gas, otherwise its just regular come down. But sometimes if your at like 4k or higher, and you decel, it makes the craziest popping and crackling sound and ill i can think of is RACECAR! lol
Driving normal, yes it is louder, but not bad. It's when you give it that foot down it comes even more alive. But it is honestly loud even driving normal.
The idle sound also is just immaculate. sounds like a real muscle car struggling for air.
I'm going now to get a video up.

+1 on posting the video!
I also can't really comment on drone, as i was driving with all the windows down on the way home. I can definitely here it more, but i like it so i wasn't complaining. I'll report back on windows up later.
And yeah, yeah, i know, post up the video... will do, though I have to say it sounds way better when driving (under load) than when just sitting in park.

I believe if you are removing the resonator, NO X-PIPE is needed. the crossover or equalization of gases is already done pre-secondary cats. so no point in another cross over.
now if you are hacking both the secondaries and res, i believe the x-pipe is good to have. it will mellow out the bark a lil bit and provide a couple hp gain. this is from sheer fluid flow analysis i did on exhaust systems yrs ago when studying the effects on my heavily built corvette. def was a gain on that car, i assume the rest of us would benefit similarly.
Aj
Enjoy.
I was filming, so my little cousin (Universal Technical Institute school age, not that little) was driving my car, and I told him I wanted to hear what it sounds like, so he was a bit nervous on opening it up, but he's use to speed on his GSXR 1000, but not a 100k car. ha
Once again, Stock 07 E63, 69k miles, K&N drop ins and charcoal filter delete, secondary cat and resonator removed and 3" SS straight pipe through.
