Anybody reflash the ECU? What brands? Impression? How difficult is the removal and installation?

His mama. Traded y0 mama in because she was squeaking.
Yup. Lots of people.

My Impression? My impression is that you're... well, I don't want to break any MBW rules.

Removal and re-installation difficulty depends on your mechanical aptitude.

SEARCH AND SEARCH This has been covered many times. The removal and re-install of the ecu is easy. My preference for tuners is LET/Eurocharged but every one has their favorite. My impression is.....I love my Tune!!!

Not a huge difference, but noticeable...Renntech, Kleeman, Eurocharged, Powerchips, they are all about the same can tune...Definitely fattened my midrange a little, but I have no clue if it's even still on after all the crap trying to fix my rough idle...I mean who installs intake gaskets wrong..?!?! At an AMG authorized dealer service center...

Was it parkplace, my ML is there right now for service and to get a couple things fixed. Hope they don't do anything wrong to it...

It was fixed at PP, but I don't think they are the ones that messed it up in the first place, since I'd never had anything done that would involve pulling the intake. Some people hate PP, but I've always had good experiences. It only took them two visits to figure out what was wrong, but I spent a ton changing everything to troubleshoot (spark plugs, oil, tranny flush, BMC filters). Guess I don't need any maintenance for a while..!!! I take it to Autoscope for maintenance now, just because Steve is so cool about stuff..!

I've had like 3 dealer reflashes in a year...haha...I'm just not sure if they flashed it again after the gaskets got fixed. It wasn't noted so I'm assuming not...

I like parkplace I've bought two cars from them and no complaints. Matter of fact one of thefixes for my ML was a broken bolt in my tailgate, they can't get the old one out so they might just replace the entire tailgate......under warranty! Plus they gave me a loaner to drive back to Oklahoma only problem is it's not an AMG!!!

Brian is our SA, my wife is out of luck she gets stuck driving the C300 since it's her ML that needs work . I thought I was driving a semi truck it took so long to accelerate when I was driving home!!

(Sorry for hijacking the OPs thread)

I came across Eurocharged/LET when I was thinking of purchasing. I chose not to go with them after customers have had engine failures. No replacement engines provided... I read multiple threads on this forum telling stories of how their engines had blown up.
My advise would be to go with a reputable tuner who has proven performance and experience. Why risk your investment with a cheap tune?

I havent heard of any E63 engines blowing up with a tune? Those were E55 engines, I could be wrong. LET/Eurocharged are good people but I dont think any company will replace any type of engine if it blows up. I think it kinda boils down to use it at your own risk.

correct. The other issue with the 2 customers cars were on 55's and none have been directly linked to tune issues.
