The plate is from my old black e55 and is a temp tag until I get it transfered so don't get all butt soar about it. There you go, tag changed in OP, lol.

NO I still have the E55 guys, I bought this beast for daily commute and will bring the E55 out only on nice days. Karlson, funny you say that because after only owning it for 300 miles, I had to put in a new transmission and clutch assembly. Parts can be had for pretty cheap though on these cars off the audi forums since it is a 10 yr old car.
Right now it is making 350HP and 400tq, and I plan to do a Tial 605 Turbo swap which will put it at 500whp and 500wtq which is the max for the stock internals and block. Quattro in the twisties is unbelievable guys.

Nice pickup. I had a noggy on noggy 6 speed too. I've worked on quite a few and know a bit about modding them so if you want some help/advice just let me know. Enjoy the car ![drive](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif)
Depends on what you mean by alot of potential. The VRT swap has even more potential.

What I would love to do is a RS6 engine swap into the little B5. Blackbenz, know anything about the Tial 605 Turbo/Fuel kit. I do not want to do the K04 turbo swap as it seems to be limited to around 400whp and the Rs6 turbo swap seems to be very pricey. Feel free to post what you know in terms of macking this a 10second 1/4 mile street terror and reliable at that too. So far I have learned EPL has two kits, tial 605 kit and their 770 kit. The 605 kit makes just that, 600HP at the motor which seems to be the max for the motor before a build is necessary which I want to stay away from right now. The 605 requires a alcohol, meth kit, tial inlets, 3" DP's etc to reach 480whp which should feel amazingly fast.

Yea the Tial kits look good considering they are using stock manifolds. They are relatively new so I would give it some time and see if customers can lay down some good track numbers. As you know most of them run alot of meth.
If you plan on keeping a stock motor, I have only seen one 2.7TT B5 run tens on stock block and he had majorrrrrr weight reduction. Think just a race seat and everything else fully gutted including dash, panels, even took out wires from wiring harness lol. I have a bunch of local friends with differently modded S4's. To make them go fast usually means $$$ and at least dropping in rods. The only other guy right now that ran 10's consistently that I know of is in Canada and had a A4 with 3L built S4 motor/trans swap and GT28's with custom exhaust manifolds etc etc. I believe he had standalone as well $$$$. For right now the best compromise in my opinion is dropping in rods and RS6's. In my opinion the Tials haven't fully proven themselves yet but should be a good option. Just a heads up, these cars tend to have problems and if you don't wrench on the car yourself the repair bills won't be pretty. Pulling the motor to change turbos isn't very fun. Relaible and modded B5 S4 shouldn't be used in the same sentence lol

For now I will just use her for my daily commute and have started building a HUGE sound system as you can see. I may save my go fast $$$ for the E55 AMG then. No rush and thanks for the good advice peoples.
