Yale......sure.
A Yale graduate would take pride in their $100K education and use proper grammar, puncuation and capitalization.

Guys, I just got a quote from Michael Case two weeks ago on a Chrysler warranty for my 06 E55. $2,400 for three more years.

A lot of the CSC warranties from the last couple weeks are being denied though after the fact.

As for the Chrysler service contracts...I can only say I called them direct about a week ago at (800) 442-2666 and spoke with Todd. He quoted me the following costs on a 2006 E55 with 59xxx miles:

$100 Deductible:
4yr/unlimited - $5285

$200 Deductible:
2yr/unlimited - $3720
3yr/unlimited - $4255
4yr/unlimited - $4635
5yr/70k - $4635

I believe there are price tier breaks based on mileage broken down every 10k miles or so (i.e.- 50k, 60k, 70k, etc.). I do not know availability or if there are other restrictions based on model year or anything else, but hopefully this helps.
You have an 06. You can still get the Chrysler warranty, we cannot. When I inquired about it they said no because my car is over 5 years old.

Ya big fat no here too. I've heard bcs cars is too old, too many miles, waited too long after factory expired, blah blah blah. Bottom line is we're not getting it!

I will share shortly what I discover about one more I'm working on....

Mr. SL,

You did not know that your car had a SC? If I'm at a dealership and I accidentally walk NEAR any AMG the sales people start crying 'Its Supercharged!"

An 07 Not under factory warranty? A supercharger going out on an 07??

Give me a break.

So far, I have not had a good experience with Lisa.... Three days ago, I called her direct line to get a quote; she answered by saying I'm with a client, can I give you a call back in 20 minutes. I said sure and gave her my phone number. I waited 3 hours (basically until the end of the day) and still no call. I figured she got busy, so I called back and this time I got her answering machine. I left a message with my information and still, until now, she did not call me back. It has been 3 to 4 days now

Sorry to hear. I did notice in that thread I linked that it says to not leave a voicemail because she rarely returns them, and the best option would be to just keep calling until you get ahold of her.

Call the dealership and have her paged. She is usually there floating around, rarely answers the phone....

I have an '06 and Mike Case said NO - in fact he said they weren't writing ANY MBs regardless of model year or AMG.

I'll call again and hope it's changed as everything else seems to be either crazy-high priced or fishy deals like Direct Buy Warranty.......of course if I ever needed the turbos replaced on my 55K Direct Buy may just be the ticket

Spoke with Todd at DC $4635 for 5/70 on my '06 E55 with 32274 miles and $200 deductible.

Coverage IS available for 05s as well, according to him.

Now, I didn't give him a VIN for an 05 to plug in ! I wouldn't take it to the bank until you give him a VIN because there's a chance he's wrong.

He cannot do an 05. I've tried and tried. Even if he could, if he back dated the policy, you'd be paying $4650+ for a 3.5/100...

hey Vazha, I'm waiting to find out who you went with. I'm about done looking for a warranty for my 05, I just can't see myself forking over 5500+ for 3/36 with Mercury. I'm starting to think it might be worth taking the chance and not getting a warranty but knowing my luck, my engine is gonna blow up on me. If I could get 3/36 for under 4, I might jump on it. Let us know who you go with.

Cute. But they're not DC anymore. So which part of the former DC are we talking about here? Daimler or Chrysler? I thought the former wouldn't touch anything out of warranty and the latter is not doing MBs anymore. I have a low mile 06 so if there's an option with 'DC', I'm happy to make some calls too...

Chrysler will not sell warranty to cars that are out of initial manufacturer's warranty unless an exception is done by the local Chrysler dealership, in which case, you'd have to buy the service contract locally from them.

By the way, I still can't get hold of Lisa or even get a response back from her

I got a great quote from Lisa but them she went MIA.

Anyways, here it is:

I got a 4/100 through Mercury, "Platinum +" covers everything but maintenance items. No cap, no limit killer policy for under $4500. LOCKED AND LOADED!!

Call my new best friend Damion at 949-257-7515. He is expecting your calls and just tell him Vladan referred you. He is amazing and really worked out a good deal for me. You 06 guys should have no problems and he will work with 05's as well.

WTH? I talked to Damion a couple of weeks ago, and the best he could do for me was 3/36 for $5500+, I have an 05 with 38k miles. He said they couldn't even offer me anything more than 3 years because it was an 05, he said if it was and 06 he could have offered me 5 years 100k for something like $3500. I don't get it, I've talked to a few different Mercury agents and they all roughly gave me the same quote. I'm running out of time though, need to come up with something fast.
