Does anyone know if you can watch DVD movies on the factory DVD based Navigation system? That would be awesome since I have an 11 month old daughter that would enjoy that on long trips.

Side note. The E63 woke up my wife today. I started it to back out of the garage and she called me on my phone because she said she heard a loud rumble and did not know what it was. Needless to say, she did not expect an all stock car to sound that good.

Hmmm. Mine doesn't sound like much except at WOT.
Maybe you don't have the OEM exhaust? Have you checked? I suppose it's possible it's been modded by the PO.
Anyway, the new W212, SLS, C63 sound a lot better, imho. The E63 is fairly subdued (good though for quiet comfort on the freeway.....)
In the meantime you seem pretty happy with your choice

So does anyone know how complicated it is to add the OEM iPod kit and the OEM side window shades? Those are the only two things I am really missing, and they would help on trips from Indiana to Canada (which we do a lot). That way I could have a nice selection of music, and the rear side shades could keep the sun off of my daughter while she is in her car seat.
