M-113 harmonic balancer / pulley holding Fixture
Hello Buffyclk500; If you are R & R the oem pulley with a AMS light weight , then you should Proably take it to Wade @ European Specialist. in Wellington,FL. He has the tools , He installed 4 of the 185mm ASP pulleys last month. Take 2 hrs. of labor, The Radiator And Electic fan will have to come out. This is not an easy Task with hand tools. You Might want to consider a 180 * F modded T-stat assy , while the motor is being worked on.
Wade's Ph # 561-798-5435 , ask for Wade or Roger

R & R Pulley
Hi all: This is a CLK500 not a E-55 and I've seen this car at the Drags. There just is not as much room there , as your E-55s. For 2 hours of labor by a very good master tech. He would be in Fat City, I just hate to see this guy adding another story to the ones aleady out there. Look at it this way , He will have to buy a holding fixture $55.00 Plus Shipping $10.00, For a 1 time use only. ( I don't thing anybody going to loan theirs out, (Not many responses or Offers ). For another $150.00 he can have it installed & have assurance of a Job well done & no Distractions from his Buddies. Does the OP know he needs a New $20.00 Crank bolt
. My Guess he has purchased a AMS all Alum lightweight pulley. It doesn't have a Steel insert where it contacts the Crank snout or key way. The install maybe straight forward , but you better pay attention to details. I maybe all wrong , but the holding Fixture does not fit the AMS pulley well. and I made AMS awhere of this a while back. Best of luck , I wish no bad. Just be informed. Cheers _PTEngineering
