FS: 2003 E55 with 8K miles

www.coventrymotorcar.com

The proverbial 'owned by a little old man' car. Smells new, looks new, practically is new. Not sure if anyone is looking but this would be a great find for the guy wanting a really low mileage one. Check it out ....I'm like 5 miles from the shop.

Who threw up on it's motor? That kind of milage just seems too low to me, there can be many problems from just letting an engine sit cold for months.

looks like bird droppings and scratchings, or maybe rodents? I wonder if anything's been chewed/eaten.

I'd buy this car for $20-25K, get a good warranty, and enjoy it, except I already have my low-mileage AMG steal. ('04 S55, 16K miles, $32K, purchased in May '09)

no way would I pay $35K, but that's just me. feel free to disagree

I'm just passing the info... you guys are the experts on this car. I haven't looked but there can't be many really low mile 03 E55s for sale. But, true, I btdt with a low mile Benz before too....they can and do have more head-aches! MBs are meant to be driven....alot.

Anyway...it is what it is, an old man's Sunday car...I bet it never went above 4000 rpms either. I think the records showed it went in for an oil change. It def needs some new tires regardless. A VMi will say it all, bet it isn't much. Was 03' a bad year or something for E55s?

Its pretty darn fast ! It makes nice power. I'd like to ditch my Rs6 for an 05-06' E55 wagon moreso now.

Nav wasnt even an option in 2003- it only was available with the President's Edition.

Yes, but are they all real or badge engineered?

That is nasty!!!!!! You would think that they would at least clean off the rodent droppings or if they were too lazy, NOT POST THE PICTURE!

The sides of the center console has something odd going on with the finish on the vinyl.

If you think you may be serious about it, spend a couple hundred bucks for a buyers inspection at an MB dealership. They will find anything major and will find enough "nits" for you to have plenty to negotiate with. Ask them to give it the same inspection they would give to a potential CPO vehicle and write it all down for you as well as the print out of all the codes.

Do Dealerships actually do inspections? I tried to have a SL500 inspected in San Diego by the dealer 2 years ago, and they wouldn't do it due to some liability issues. I had to take it to an independent MB shop.

All the carsbare legit amg's. An amg is like an average car down here and i even seen two tricked out SLSs. sl55, sl63, sl65, s65, cl55, and c63s are everywhere. Too much people with too much bloody money....Gone in 60 sec lol.

Not all of them will perform a buyers inspection. A couple of months ago I had one done by Star Motors MB in Houston after being turned down by Greenway MB. He should just check all the local dealers.

Its already been to the dealership (New Country in Hartford)...all they found was a bad tire pressure monitor module; and its been replaced.

Its not for me, just passing along a low mileage one to the community. I would actually dig it prolly but the low mileage and price is out of my realm right now. Like I said previously , I'd do a later model wagon (when/if the prices drop some more)...I really like them, always have.

I do know the seller is open to offers...and the car is warrantied by them.

A new picture of the motor is on the website.

Owner says first shot it was 'pre-detail' and should not of gone up...but it did. No biggy....looks clean now.
