Any pics of the 1080 installed? I'm planning to do my interior in glossy CF, not sure what to do about the sliding console door yet. Sick of looking at sun faded factory wood trim. Makes me feel like I'm 85 years old, lol

I don't know whose E55 this is, but I want to redo my interior in glossy carbon like this. Does anyone know what this was wrapped with and where to source the stuff?

will post pics up soon of my interior, but again it's not wrap but real CF from a customer mould.

OK, looking closer I think you're right. That's going to be too pricy, what DIY options are there for the glossy CF look, if any? Heck, anything will look better than that faded birdseye maple crap.

I used my stock boot. Luckily I had keyless go on my car so the boot comes in 2 pieces (not sure about non-keyless cars but it looks like 1 piece). The shift knob I got it from DCT motorsports along with the steering wheel. You can't see from that angle but the front portion of the shifter is also carbon fiber instead of wood.

Is that the glossy CF wrap? Who sells this stuff at a reasonable price? I want to start on my interior ASAP, that wood is an eyesore. So 1080 or Di Noc? Which one is glossy and easy to wrap/mold around the interior pieces?

I searched and found a lot of info and pics on the DiNoc vs. Scotchprint and I'm going to order the glossy 1080 Scotchprint and wrap my interior pieces over the next few weekends. Should look about 100x better than the faded OEM wood, can't wait to see the transformation!

i did the center console... it was a ***** lol.. you have to take the center console out and carefully remove the sliding cover it comes right out. then you put the sheet down covering the whole thing. Once your done with that heat and flex it slightly so you can see the edges and lines. Cut the excess of the sides first.. so you can see the wood pieces on the end. Then on the corner of a table put the cover flat and pull the first bar... slightly bend it and use your blade and start off at the end where you see the wood and do each bar individually. After an hour you should be done lol.
I think i took a pic let me see if i can find it.
