Need advice on price for an '07?
I just found an '07 white E63 With pano roof and (I pretty sure...) P2 options.
the car seems very clean (pics online only bc its out of state) but has 44K miles. Its coming from a non-MB dealer so I would have to pay to have it CPO'ed and warranty extended for a few years i assume.
What do you guys think I should look to pay for the car.

I just saw on the other post you made that someone else also posted that you can't get a car with CPO warranty without buying it from a Mercedes dealership, and then you asked the same question in this post.
To make it clear - the only way to get a CPO warranty is to buy a used Mercedes from a Mercedes dealership.

Thats good info!
So To clarify I CANT EVEN PAY a MB Dealer to CPO a car for me? I cant repurchase an extended warranty for the car?
The car is an 07 with 44K miles so the 4yr/50K is not up yet but will be soon, and i am afraid of the possibilities in breakage, etc?
also I cant even come close to finding a $35-40K on an E63, all are over 42K unless the miles are higher. If miles are higher (50-60 or even 70K miles) the cost drops DRASTICALLY

It is my understanding, as I almost bought an 07 and had to check on this, you will have to take out a warranty as soon as u drive it off the lot. An 07 means it was made in 06 and the 4 years is almost up. Expect to pay 3-4k for 3 years of coverage thru a company like easycare. You cannot pay MB to CPO a car. They only do this on cars they buy thru auction or trade. Honestly, besides all the money they throw into the car to make it meet certain specs( which in your scenario you were hoping to pay the dealer to get it "cpo'd".), all u would get outnof it is one year extra of warranty. Who caresbif unsell it a year down road and you say it is CPO? It doesn't matter. Anyway, I got my car CPO thrunthe dealer but it only had 11k miles. Isnthisnthe car you want? Does it maje financial sense? Compare what bus costs forna warranty and maybe take a look at some CPOd cars and 08s. Good luck with your choice. It is fun.
