Shill bidding 100%.
When you see that many "0" and "-1" bidders you know it's total BS.
There was someone bidding on their own auction that thought they were "smart"...people aren't that stupid.

Good lookin out! I never knew a hailstorm could produce damage like that, it's pretty severe in certain areas... I wonder if those paintless dent removal companies could work wonders on a car damaged this badly or not? regardless, I'm glad I garage the beast 24/7

We had a severe hail storm here over a year ago and you should have seen the work that the paintless dent removal guys were doing. There were dent guys from all over the country setting up temporary shop to fix hail damaged cars. Most good PDR people can get all of the dents out, as long as the car is worth enough for the insurance company to justify fixing. It is pretty amazing.Originally Posted by harjothundal

Ummm, the E55 has PLENTY of room for a child and all of their gear. No need for an SUV there! Heck, we bought our E63 to haul our 1 year old daughter around in and we have more than enough room.

I had a 1989 Grand Prix that got whacked by hail not quite as big as what hit this MB. USAA repair bill was ~3500 (about 15% of what I paid, +/-). Most of the repair work was PDR, but the hood had to be replaced because there were dings too close to corners and seams and the PDR tools could not reach them.Originally Posted by harjothundal

Big hail can total a car quite easily

I'd buy it for 15k. A little bondo and paint and it would make a good beater

A hailstorm tore my wife's accord up about 12 years ago when we were living in Wyoming. Funny thing is my parents were out visiting at the time in their MB 190e. Both cars were parked along side of each other and the MB didn't have a lump or bruise.
