HELP NEEDED: Seat Suggestion

Gang,
I'm considering buying an E63, and found a nice deal on an '09. The car is fantastic, but I just cannot get comfortable. It appears that the rear of the seat needs to come down another inch or so. I have adjusted the back of it as far down as it will go both front and back.

Is there an aftermarket way to do it for people who do DE's (for helmets, etc), or am I just going to have to tell the dealer thanks, but no thanks?

Any suggestions? (Yes, I STFA )

I have an '08 and don't have an issue with seat height. I'm 6' and think it's pretty low. Any chance there is something stuck under there? Can you try sitting in another for comparison? Maybe there is a member that can help? I'm in Chicagoland if you want to try mine out.

My helmet bumps the "oh sh*t" handle on track days...I just put more gansta lean in my seat...When I really wish I could lower the whole thing and stay more upright, but then again I'm sure they did not design it with that in mind Having not been in a sunroof only car I have no idea if they have more or less clearance than a Pano roof...

You drive a 911 and you complain about the E63 seat?

Yeah, this was more what I was after, just trying to get away from the "gangsta lean" because I have some back trouble. If I get it, I may try to take a look at the assembly and see if it can be modified to get another inch or so in the rear. The front seems to sit far enough down for me.

The sport seats in my '97 911 Turbo are pretty comfy. Of course, I only put about 2500 miles on that a year, so I don't have that much chance to remember

I'm 6'2" if that helps...It's not leaned back too too far, just a couple nudges and I usually clear the headliner just fine...I don't think you can go low enough to avoid the handle in turns, but I've also never noticed any scratches...They are fun whales on the track
