Is this price crazy for 2009 CPO e63?
Beginning the search for my own e63 after lurking for some time (and moving from the BMW team to the MB team...woo hoo).
I found a gorgeous 2009 certified e63, with PII package, 3,000 miles.
Their "bottom line" is $69,500. Sticker was $98k.
Thoughts?

Where is it? Swadhani just dumped his 09 with 3k. It is black/black with dark windows and an Renntech ELM. He didnt even tell them the ELM was in it. The remote is in the center armrest. Columbus Ohio Germain.

Just an FYI, there's a brand new 09 E63 in Florida at a dealer - I could find it again. It's listed at $79k but given that's was the 2010's are selling for, no telling what you might get this for.
Let me know and I can find it again.

How did you end up in So Ca? If I lived in CA I probably couldn't afford the cars.
I should probably clarify that - I no longer have the turbo - sold it and bought the wife the S5. My DD is a ford F250 KR. I like to have the option to just run over people if they get in the way![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Selling the wifes old X5 to get the E63.

A fellow Rice Owl on the board? Uh oh, you might not like me either, since my DD is my 996TT. Ah, the used market. What you can pick up for a song.

I love my E55 but why not just get a used S65 for this price? With a new HE/Pump and Tune you can have 900 lb/ft of torque and 750HP?
Tha'ts what I'd do.

One is there for $72K with only 15K miles.

RE: 09 E63
If you like it, offer them $60K, and see what they'll let it go for; they should have low 60's in it. Get a couple extra years of warranty thrown in as part of the deal if you can.

Would they really have low 60's in it when dealers were selling brand new ones last summer and fall for up to $30k off ?
If a new car, stickered @ 95k sold for 65k I find it hard to believe they'd invest anywhere near that much for a used one.
Particularly with such a narrow customer base for this car.
Funny story: a member on this board traded in his '09 E63, 21k miles, to a local BMW dealer in Huntington, NY (he bought it at the MB dealer down the street)
The BMW dealer sold it at auction in Manheim, PA. Bought by an Audi dealer.
Guess where ? Down the street from the BMW dealer. Asking price now,$71k with NO CPO.
They put it on Ebay and it got no where near the reserve. High bid was $50+k. Link : Click Here

It doesn't matter if you could have bought them new last year for whatever price. Because you can't buy them anymore. So, the price will simply be what the market will bear. And it seems like the CPO market is getting better (for sellers) now.
I mentioned to the OP the price they were going for new last year just so he could be aware and at least argue the price with the dealer. But I still bet they bought it for around $62k. So at $69.5k he still has a lot of leeway.
