I'm with Kev, plus with that good a deal, you can ditch early and snag the TT when you want to.

As much of a fan as I am of your M3 Vic, I'd get that E63 in a heartbeat. If you can get that good of a deal go for it and then dump it when the TT comes out (or get a TT M5, because you know that is going to be a sick ride).

As an aside, I'm seriously looking at an M3 ZCP for a daily and I'd REALLY like a look at the toys you've put on yours if you part it out.

Forget it, that's Barola Red I think. Not real red at all. I thought it would be more like Mystic Red.

The white is better with the P030 and no pano (at least you didn't mention pano in your W212 post.) No pano is good.

But ash interior s*cks, imho. White on ash. You might as well move to Palm Springs.

I'd love that color on you if you were in your mid 60's...

White would be a much better fit for your mod bugs IMO. But I'm sure you'd have no problem doing something sick with that ride either

GL with the decision!

I thought it was Mars red .......... not thrilled with that Barolo red. I think the white one would be a better choice. In regards to the AMG performance package, I would say depends on the residual. I like the ltd. slip diff, steering wheel and suspension, but you and I are wheel guys so even that they are forged, they got to go . I didn't get that much for my BS wheels because of the unique off set, but there might be a better market for the E wheels.

BTW, the picture looks familiar ......... I guess you're talking to brother Charlie?

Biiiictooooor,

Looks like you already have your mind made up. Get the P3 package only if it has Pano, otherwise I would pass. Its a sin to buy a white E without Pano.

I just now saw that post https://mbworld.org/forums/4163598-post2.html

I guess Mystic Red is more like Barolo Red. I was hoping you'd found something like Mars Red. Mars Red on black would be like P-car Guards Red on black, nice.

Have you seen ash interiors on MBs in person?

ps, pano is too top heavy (and noisy after a while with creaks and pops)

I had a pano on my 2004 E55 which was actually quite solid for 2 years and then it did go to squeaks!

What does Ash look like- is it dark?

Bought all my MBZ's from him, so the plates and place is quite familiar. The only dealer that makes me sign that "no front license plate" doc.

I'd take an E63. I'd definitely pass on that color though. That's why it's such a deal...no one wants it. :2cents:

I agree with the rest, dump the M3 and get the E63. That deal is damn good and you already have the TT and GT-R.

Although I LOVE your M3 and LOVE everything you've done to it, I got to agree with everyone regarding the deal on the W212 E63, it's just too good to pass on. Just make sure you get into as short a lease as possible so that when the twin turbo version comes out, you're ready to move on If that's not possible with the same deal, then it's probably be a good idea to wait about 8 more months or so and get the twin turbo .

This is ash. White on ash looks weird to me. Way too old man like. Maybe not as bad with darker exteriors like dark gray. But gets dirty fast.
p.s., Palladium's nice.

Vic..

I'm still saving to eventually one day buy your GTR once you have moved on to bigger and better things..

but honestly.. wait for the new CLS with 5.5TT.. no need to dump money on a NA motor.

M3 is a great DD and the DCT is jewel. Add the supercharger and you will be hitting 130's.

SAVE your money for the new AMG!

Sorry but the new 5.5tt aint gonna be 65k , lol.

Plus the N/A car will sound MUCH better, it will be a blast. I love the fact people in the forum still think the N/A motor is to be avoided when we have members that have achieved so much. Not to mention the fact the same plant is in the SLS , that is running low 11's STOCK.

Getting a new E63 for 65k trumps waiting two years and paying 120k for the E63 TT , sorry this car will not blow the doors off any of the current lineup. The new S63 tt tested a scant 1/10th faster, lol boy oh boy those turbo's really helped

hmmm lets see...recent turbo cars off the top of my head
  • BMW 335 yub its slow with those turbos
  • MB 600/65 yup slow with those silly turbos
  • P 996/997 again turbos bah rubbish, don't want any of that!
  • Audi RS6 fat vaaagen on steroids and whats this SLS no match
  • GTR uuuber crap why waste time & money on a turbo car

Mod them achieve light speed and dust everything and return them to the ash from which they came

but yeah turbo's... who ever said they make a car go fast!

I love you juiceee

There was only 1 C63 made in barolo red per the owner (DadsC63)....I think that's pretty rare and awesome. Might be the only 1 E63 you have there.
