Taking the AMG out to Miller Motorsports Park, any tips?
So I figured it's about time to get the ol' AMG out on a real track with corners, instead of just the drag strip.
Any last-minute tips specific to tracking an AMG? Keep in mind that this is a fairly casual track day, with a pace car, no hot lapping or door-to-door racing.
I'd like to get an idea of what the car can do. Or is this car just a big fat pig and am I wasting my time?

I want to take my car out to the road course soon. I've never been on the track before so I don't know what to expect but I want to find a group that will cater to first timers or novices.

Yeah, don't do this
Be interesting to get your take on it Nait. Some guys think it handles okay, some hate it's guts in corners.

Heh, I think I might leave ESP on for the first couple laps. This car gets sideways faster than a drunk girl on prom night.

Why you should not take an E55 AMG on a world-class LeMans track: More than 30% throttle through a corner at 60 mph will get you sideways in a hurry.
Why you should do it anyway: getting sideways through a corner at 60 mph is AWESOME.
We only had the east section of the track but I still got it up to 110 on the straight. wheee!
