Production Numbers for AMG W211
Well after recently purchasing a W211 E63 the final production numbers were released. I will say the R63 is nolonger the rarest AMG, the E63 Wagon 2009 is the rarest of AMG cars, in the United States.
Also there are roughly three times as many E55 Kompressor Cars as there are W211 E63. The total number of E63 W211 is compareable to that of the total number of Mark IV Supra Twin Turbos produced. Lets hope the value holds the same
Fingers Crossed!!! Not holding my breath tho

I dont understand why you insist on refering to me as "Monkey boy"? I am sorry I provided an opinion and it bothers you but your insistance on name calling is very childish. I thought this forum was different than a Mustang or a SRT forum but I guess not. Enjoy your E55 I have nothing to prove to anyone

There was one left in SoCal when I bought my sedan in May '09. I was really tempted. But it was white with beige interior. It just looked too grandma-like to me. There was a lot of beige in there, esp being a wagon. I was all ready to buy... if only it had been a better color combo.

Monkey Boy is a back alley used car dealer so he borrowed the VIN off the E55 that daddy had bought to resell a few months ago, see this thread:

Do you ladies all work for Ms Chleo??? You are really good! The Times and the Tribune are national newspapers. The "Red Eye" a free local Chicago paper is not. Since you guys know everything I thought I would let the rest of the individuals on this forum understand how full of .... Well that’s for others to figure out.
As for the gentlemen who threatened violence, AKA Internet forum tough guy, congrats you are an online tough guy on a Mercedes Forum. Your mother must be proud, its your second biggest accomplishment outside of the Special Olympics.
As for the picture, Parking Space:Owned by my Step Father, Car Owned:By my Uncle, Harley Owned:By My Grandmother, and the Savage Arms BAS 10 and The Chrome IMI DE is owned by me but those are not in the trunk.
How come you guys didn’t know all that? I think Ms Chleo is a fraud

I'm a little humbled to know there are so few of my '08 E63 running around. I'm wondering how many M5s, M3s or Corvettes are out there?

I think one of two things in regards to the E63, the bad economy may be the reason for low E63 numbers. Too many E63's sat on dealer lots for a long time so why keep producing a high $$$ car when most will just sit only to be heavily discounted later.
my other thought is that the E63 suffers from the Steve Young syndrome

I agree with you 100% the car was released at a poor time during the major economic downfall. Even now people are getting huge incentives to buy the new ones off the showroom floor, it is also model year end.
As for the value of the E63 going up in 30 years maybe? Blown motor technology is coming a long way and the E55 is perfect example of people enjoying cars where you can spend a reasonable amount for the car and get a little more from some modifications (Which is why I believe they are so appealing). With the release of the Turbo 5.5 I dont think it looks good for the 63 long term 15 years or so. As its pricey to get comperable power from a NA car. I bought this car for its tribute to the 6.2 found in the W109. Coming from American cars and being a self proclaimed Benz guy. The W109 truely was a muscle car from Mercedes in the late 60s! It was super sweet and nobody really knows about them. I also enjoy the sounds of a big NA over a blown car personally. I dont know if the E63 is a car I wanna keep around that long personally, as I like cars and my tastes change over time. I just hope its worth 30k 4 years from today.
