I would just like to know where the hell you guys are driving above 150+mph?

if my car can whoop the m5 and m6 from 60-120, that is plenty fine for me.

if i can spank the m5 in 0-60, im more than pleased.

Most people don't even pass up 120 when going!

i smoke them from dig to infinity lol, no chance for a stock M5, but for a high modfied one, it is a bit PITA from 220km till 280 but after that i reach him and pass by him,

in short once the 4th gear is in, the M will pass by when the 5th is in, the E returns to glory. lol

i don't know why, im talking about my car with a high tuned M, ECU, Headers & Exhuast, intake, sport filters + hot weather, lol which kills our 55k in our summer, don't blame it, it reaches 50C.

You have 505WHP losing to a M5 pushing 500hp? I raced 2 stock M5's and both same outcome. Cars are just about as even as it gets.

Heres my video if some of you guys havn't seen. All i have is the CM30 pump and raced in about 40 degree weather.

M5 vs E55

To the OP you won't need much at all. I think tune alone and this M5 I raced here would have lost. A member here with tune/pulley raced the same M5 I raced the same night and pulled on it easily all the way thru ( I was in the passenger of the tune/pulley E55 ).

Nice runs. I see a lot of blinking triangles in the last run.

+1 Haha. You guys must not be afraid to go to prison and have your car and license taken away!!! The highest I have gone was 160 in the middle of the desert between the Hoover Dam and Las Vegas and I was holding on for dear life. That **** is straight up scary.

well- i did not go +180mph in the E55 overnight --
old M3 130mph - my old S4 145mph -- my old M5 160mph
Takes alot of time and distance to get to these speeds -- but a modded E55 can get up there rather quick!! start around 80mph only takes a freeway exit or 2 to get up there.

Also, I had a few bikes and rode them +165mph -- So, the E55 gets there fast, stable and feels pretty safe.

Damn dude you have some ***** lol and I am sure it is not as scary if you have been doing it for a long time. The motorcycle though absolutely scares me to death at those speeds. I have a 2009 1200 custom Harley and the most I go is around 90 and anything over it becomes stressful. What kind of bike you have?

I can;t imagine 160 & 180mph. Fastest I've ever been is 145-150 in my Jeep and that was crazy enough.

If your rolling 80 and or 90 on the highway once you finish third at 135/140ish which will take roughly about ten seconds, 150/160 will come 3 seconds later

I guess any kind of mods doesn't matter if you don't upgrade the pump and H/E. That's what I'm gathering from all of this. I guess those two things would be a great place to start.

Yes, I have an E60 M5 and we had some fun on the way to the dyno facility. My car only had a tune at that time which yielded 25WHP over stock. It was neck and neck to 145mph against a stage I E55 (Thanks Scott). I lost by 3-4 cars on a Stage III E55 at 165mph (Hadi).

Scott - We need to run again...I've added our underdrive pulley kit and tuned her again since....I won't tell you the new numbers. ;-)

Oh.....and long tube headers are on order.

yeah- high speed bursts are nothing new -- but that is all they are -- quick little bursts -- I wont stay at those speeds very long -- sometimes you get the itch and need to smash the accelerator---
A bike is a bit scary -- but you can not compare a harley at high speeds to a superbike Ducati
