Advice on repair items

Just had my car dropped off for oil change and of course I get the expected long list of repairs that my car needs totalling over 3K.

1. Brake Pad and Rotors - I can do this myself. Quoted about 1300 for parts and labor but I found all the parts for about 450. I can do the labor.

2. The Front Radius Arms have torn boots but joints are still good.
Parts to replace is 608.81 for both sides. 150 for labor. What are these and can I do this myself?

3. 60K service has K&N Filter, Cabin Filter, and Belt. Not sure what belt he is referring to. Im sure I can change the filters myself. Any ideas on what belt and costs?

4. Flush Brake Fluid. I may let them do this after I change the pads and rotors.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreicated.

Car free at the moment
The air filters, cabin filter, and belts (2) are easy to change. Parts are easy to order online from any MB specialist supplier.

You need 2 air filters, they run ~$30 each. You need a torx driver to change them - think it's a T-25, but my memory ain't perfect.

Cabin filter is super easy to change. Also prices about $30.

The car has two belts - one for accessories, one for the supercharger. About $75 for both? is what I recall. Belts are easy to change, just need a 17mm socket to release the tensioner. The accessory belt is a bit fiddly to get on all the pulleys and back over the tensioner. The supercharger belt is a 5 minute job, tops.

Use search, there are threads explaining how to do all of these jobs.

Let the dealer or a good indy flush the brakes. You need the right electronic tools to do it properly. Figure $150, give or take.
