Going to have the ASP 180MM Pulley Installed Next Week - 1 Question

I'm taking it to a professional MB specialist, DynoComp in Scottsdale AZ but is their anything specifically I should tell them to install it correctly?

Here's what I've been told:

"The ASP 180mm pulley is an overdrive pulley not an underdrive. Also it is imperative that it is installed properly. 148tft/lbs and then a 90 deg stretch."

Sorry if this is a silly question, just want to avoid any of the dreaded, "Pulley wobble" due to improper installation.

Thanks.

Alex

Like torquing it to a specific pound, etc?

Did the pulley come with a crank bolt? You going to want a new one.. If not just let me know, I'm going to the dealer today I can pick one up.

No it did not so thanks very much for the offer! I'm also going to have you install a larger Heat Exhanger as well at the same time. Just curious what is the cost of the bolt?

Again thanks very much for doing this!

One other question for you, the pulley came with a new belt, but I'd also like you to replace the, "Other" belt as their are two. Very sorry if this isn't specific, but since you're in there I figured do both.

Do you have that belt as well or could you get it from the dealer?

Looking to install all of this with you next week.

Thanks again, really appreciate your help here.

I'm not sure what the bolt cost, but I would think its like $10 or something. If its more than that, I'd say I would be shocked, but it is the dealer so... I'll check for you. No problem on the belt too, I can get it from the dealer, but there are other options locally that have the correct belt.

What H/E are you using? If you haven't got one yet.. I could just make you one. No biggie, just letting you know the scope of what we can do.

You're car will be in good hands. Matt and Matt, the two main techs, know their stuff and are very good at what they do.

If you have anything custom you want or need done, feel free to ask. We can do just about anything this side of installing a solid rocket booster.

Yes thank you both including the quote! I've gone with the Heat Exchanger from Jerry at EuroTek, so it's a once piece, larger unit. It should, "Bolt right in" and yes if you could pick up both the bolt and belt I'd greatly apprciate it.

I'll give you a call in the next day or so to make the actual installation appointment. Thanks Mike you guys are fantastic. (You installed the Johnson pump for me on the E55 about 6 months ago so you get all my service going foward.)

With the 180mm on and H/E, I'm looking at the Quaife LSD through TTMotorsports for my next mod. From there all that's really left is headers.

This is why I love this place so thank you three, TTMotorsports, Eurocharged and Dyno Comp!

Here's the I purchased: http://www.eurocharged.com/index.php...mart&Itemid=99

Is it me, or does your A/C in your house stink when ever the humidity does up a little bit. Sunday morning after that big storm nailed my house it was kind of damp inside. Even with the AC blasting at 68dg.

Will do Mike33! Yeah I live in Queen Creek (Pinal County) but I'm actually in NY for the week at the moment for work, so I'll check with the wifey as to how the house is doing.

We got walloped Saturday night with a Monsoon but the AC's do still seem to be working OK.

ETA for the 180mm and HE install is mid next week via DynoComp.

Thanks again everyone!

Alex
