"The only thing that would make this car better is a Chevy small block."

The engine makes the car and he wants a different one...go figure.

Hammer's are very cool cars. However I would rather have a 190EVO.

Aside from the douche, I don't think the car looks that bad

The AMG that started it all was quite a few years (20+ years) before the "Hammer".

BTW it was supercharged too.

Yup, the only thing wrong with the car is the driver. Other than that it's beautiful.

Yacht - M100 engine was not supercharged..it had high compression and custom cams and beautiful exhaust. I do agree this was the AMG that started the legacy.

I would love to have an original, real, AMG Hammer. Those cars are amazing historical pieces, and really are on of the first 'super sedans' that I remember. If anyone knows of one for sale, I have been trying to track one down for years, even if it needs restored.

Was that guy up in high altitude somewhere? He sounded like he was gasping for air.

Real Hammer or not, since I can't afford a real one, I'll happily take one that looks like it. It's beautiful.

When you put it all into context, it really sinks in. Although Vettes are to be feared now, the late 80s TPIs were pumping out the flamethrowin 240hp or so.

That flippin Hammer ran 13s in the 1/4.

Thank you AMG for changing the game!!!!

Dude needs to get his *** to a gym, or at least run a few miles a day. I'd hate to see him in Denver.
