Dealer said "transmission checkup" @ 40K miles? Service C in 9K miles? Sound right?

Dealer said "transmission checkup" @ 40K miles? Service C in 9K miles? Sound right?
After getting my car calibrated and aligned correctly, the dealer suggested that I get the typical transmission checkup/check around 40K miles.

Does this sound right to everyone? My car currently has 37K miles.



Also, he said "Service C in about 9K miles" ... does this sound about right? What is involved and is it covered under warranty?

Sounds about right. Neither of which will be covered under warranty. Just your typical service items. You can expect to pay close to $350-$400 for service C at a stealership and around $200 for the tranny flush.

Find a qualified indie shop and I'm sure it will run half that.
