Sound video with long tubes.. kind of :)
I installed MBH headers, but we didn't have any tools to cut the stock pipe to work with the MBH set-up, so right now I am driving with just MBH long-tubes and test pipe, these not connected to the resonator, sounds like a muscle car.. WAY too loud. Btw, probs to Ahmad(blackbenz)!
Enjoy!![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

Haha jk. Those MBH headers looked great!!! If they made a set for my car I'd be all over it! And we got it done in under 3hrs
I'm sure they will make great power over those puny stock manifolds (embarassing AMG
)

I'm sure it would have too. But we did a bigger crank pulley at the same time and I don't want him doing any of that until it gets tuned. I don't want any chance of my favorite E55 blowing up lol. My exhaust is vbanded on so maybe next time its on the lift I will remove it and shoot some flames haha. Open headers V8's are friggin loud!!!

Ok, you are probably aware but I'm going to say this anyway. Unless you have the rear 02s turned off (via tune), you are going to throw a code. The extensions limit how much exhaust gas reach the rear (secondary) sensors and can prevent a code from being set without turning off the 02 sensors. On top of that, the 90* version move the sensors farther forward reducing the harness length needed.
Just trying to help out as I've been down this road already.
IIRC, you car was a strong runner. Looking forward to reading about your new PBs at the MIR event.

Before I answer that let me add, this is an issue for anyone eliminating the primary cat regardless of header manufacturer or even if you kept stock manifolds. You could choose to run aftermarket cats, or in my case, I could have moved the rear 02 location to after the secondary cats. Now, to answer your question, yes I set a code on one occasion so far. It set right after I was "clearing out the carbon." Since then all is good.
You are really going to like these headers!
