High zinc and phosphorous oils are available
Okay, Summitracing is now selling oil that is NOT DOT approval, aka NOT for vehicles with catalytic converters.
Also known as for off road use only
Part numbers are:
SUM-MG10W40SB
SUM-MG20W50SB
They are ONLY semi synthetic, and not sure about MB approval, but there FINALLY is an alternative to low zinc/phosphorous oils that are sold in the US.
More to come as I have asked for tech specs from them.
