Private dyno day set up with Jerry@EC
Shardul and I both do. It is getting to be 1/4 mile time here and time to maximize power! Lot of new mods to dial in. Will post info , after the day of tunning.. Remember, a great 1/4 mile car is a huge start to a strong mile MPH! Many of those 200 mph + cars, run 7`s in the 1/4 mile..


I am sure we will be facebook-ing, posting and tweating during the day on some media source or another.

Jerry has spent a small fortune in the last week on all new tunning equipment. The absolute latest stuff out! Hope to be able to tune by reading knock retard this time.

Shhhh, time and location are also private for now.. It is only money, right!

haters crazy
Being able to read knock retard would be nice and not through the OBDII cuz sample rate is slowww. I already have software that does that supposedly. Good luck!

agreed and just the way we are going! OBD is extremely slow and we are on top of it!

Tuning with Knock count is the way to go. I spoke with Jerry the other day and he had some very good recommendations on a solid setup for my car. Soon my car will be logging knock counts up to 100 samples per second. I could look at my logs all day long.

Yes, but even a slow OB2 KR sampling, can help with tunning.. Any KR (even at a slow rate) can help to back the tune off and save the ECU from going crazy and pulling the 6-8 deg. we see..

I believe the autoengenuity MB specific hardware tells you how much timing is pulled in each cylinder. Gotta check it again but it supposedly reads every mb sensor (not true lol)
