PICS FROM MIR....
Had a blast - I'll let the others post there times. TONS of cars. The highlight had to have been the racer who was working on his launches, shut down after his 60' and still ran in the 12's at 80 something mph
.
I ran 12.2's all day (Kleemann headers and tune - nothing else). Clayton jumped in and on the first pass ran a 11.8 on 19 inch street tires![bow](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/bowdown.gif)
(I'm still finding rubber ***** in the molding from the burnout
)
PICS:
This literally went past a GTR like it was standing still (his Bad run was high 10's)
![](http://i675.photobucket.com/albums/vv115/hoyagirl1981/amg/P1000079.jpg)
I think there were at least 10 GTR's in attendance (running low 11's all day long):

They're great shirts - my brother and I were both rocking AMG shirts from Danny in Canada two weeks ago (there were different colors though

Good fun today, and a bunch of quick E55s !!
Motorkas car pulls like a freight train, as does Worth The Wait's. Both trapped 117 all day. I was able to get a good pass on Motorkas, as he mentioned, but I wasn't able to launch WTW's cleanly for some reason. I would like to think that I'm pretty decent at launching the 55K cars, but Brian's car left me baffled, after my 2 attempts. Maybe the LSD was giving me trouble, but it just felt different when it launched. He was able to get a couple clean passes in it though, so kudos to him.
Awesome runs for his first time out!
Charlie's car is just stupid.
Naw, didn't even sniff it. Didn't have the weather for me to take home the record. My personal best 11.40 was in negative D/A, and I was hoping for some cool weather this morning, to get me close. Dragtimes says we were in the mid/upper 70s, but it's was more like mid 80's. With that said, I did have some issues anyway. I ran my car 5 times, and every time I ran the exact same ET and MPH, which was 11.7x at 117.xx. The car never bogged, never had a weird shift and all of my 60's were good. Just seemed like it was missing some hp/mph somewhere, even though butt dyno told me different.
I've run my car probably 20-30 times at the track, and it's never trapped lower than 117, regardless of weather. I've run in 90-100* temps and usually trapped 118-119, with a few 117s coming in super hot weather and the 119s coming in better temps. The 120's come in negative D/A. With today's temps, I should've been right around 119.
Luckily, we were able to tweak the ECU at the track. After that, the car ran back to back 11.60s at 119.x. So, I'm going to need the same D/A that I ran my 11.40 in, to reach the 11.25 record.
Hopefully, our winter rental gives us some cooler weather. But even still, it's looking like I may have to do some cooling mods and get a custom dyno tune, so I don't have to wait for cold air. I'll bring cold air to the track.

Did any of the 55's go head to head with the GT-R's?
If so, what was the outcome. I know those will run mid 11's stock, and they are not typiclly stock for long!

Went head to head with '10 Shelby GT 500 and one of the GTR's; Had a 12.212 (117mph) against the GT 500 (13.397 and 114mph) and a 12.207 against the GTR (11.799 and 119.08). Personally, both of those results were driver related rather than car related (and more props to the GT 500 because they have to clutch and shift gears). Most of the GTR's left the line late because they were using launch control...

Jeremy was at MIR and able to get a bit more out of my ECU. Picked up nearly 2 tenths and almost 3mph. The 11.7x were all close to being 11.8s and the 117s were very close to being 116s. After the Jeremy tune, the car ran back to back 11.60s@119.78

Haha, just noticed the AMG shirt at the last minute. From the last batch I assume?
EDIT: I posted this before I saw all of the posts about it. I'm really happy you guys like the shirts. Stay tuned for the next batch, coming soon!
