those numbers are right on par for as stock 55 with dynocomps new dyno settings.

at firebird i used to run consistent 1.71 60ft times on 19" toyo street tires so you should definitely be able to get your 60ft times under 2 seconds, which would put your et's where they should be...in the mid 12's.

If you can run in anything between +400 to -400 is ideal, but remember sometimes a DA any lower than -400 is not always a good thing. The closer you get to 0 is better.

You need to replace your IC pump.

So, DA = elevation ??? Basically Vegas is a horrible place to see the car's potential -- It could be worst.. I could race a 1/4 uphill.

Dragtimes, they have a calculator and an explanation...really good DA is negative, but anything near 0 is money....

Density altitude...it's a combo of everything...obviously being at elevation is already a handicap, but temp and humidity are factors too...

Thanks for all the input guys! Thing I noticed was that all my back bumpers and the rear tire well liners were chewed up and the burnt rubber was plastered all over the bumpers and exhaust pipes. The crap does not come off easy so I had to use a brillo pad, hopefully I did not scratch the paint. I think I need to get smaller wheels and tires for the rear before going again.

Use either painters tape to tape the area or go to a car wash immediately after with the manual "high power spray" and power wash it off. . . I had the same problem and Clayton recommended that to me - we're both pretty OCD when it comes to what touches our paint so I immediately trusted his suggestion. . .

Hey, great idea motorkas! It looks like I have good clearance between the side plastic in the wheel wells, so I am not sure how it is burning up and melting??? Plus, if it is rubbing a lot like I am guessing that might be slowing me down lol. What do you guys think about it slowing me down?
