i'm going to be doing headers very soon and i'm also going to delete the rear cats and resonator at the same time. Whats the best x-pipe set-up to go with and where do i get them? i've done some searching on here but cant find much info on who makes them and how much. Thanks in advance!

You may want to hit up Motorkas (aka BT) about this. I know he just had it done, and local to us to boot.

Triple recommend those Magnaflow x-pipes. Nice little article below on them.

From a performance standpoint - it's undeniable. At the track picked up 3-4mph and .4 seconds (different track but similar temps). From a feel standpoint - it definitely opens up the breathing of the engine - you really don't realize how choked up the engine is until you throw headers on.
From a subjective standpoint - at idle or smaller throttle inputs - you don't notice an increase in sound - get on it - you notice - sounds good. I had the opportunity to listen to it as my wife drove it home and it sounded soooooo good (at highway speeds). Even my wife commented on it when I dropped her off at a store and drove away and she said she really likes the way it sounds - subtle but a noticable difference. After they went on I thought I was losing low end torque but after playing with it recently, I figured out that I wasn't losing torque but being more aggressive with the throttle inputs because of the sound.
Removing the resonators is definitely going to give you more sound but that was not what I was after - I was just after the performance and what I considered "making the engine more efficient" - hopes this help.

So BT you deleted both cats but left the resonators in?
Glad it passed the wife test, as I would like to replace my cats soon and add an x pipe

She changed her mind after I pulled away and now she really likes the sound. I keep the resonators because I didn't want too much sound

Many swear by the $30.00 Ebay 3" X-pipes also.
