Whatever we're tuning!
I have an solution where you won't get a CEL if removing the primary cats and you don't have to "turn off" the secondary O2's!

I have a friend with an Audi and he says that they use washers to keep the sensor out of direct air flow so that the sensor so doesn't get as much air sense the front cats are gone.

does that make sense to anyone?

Angelo-
When did you do your extensive testing and see that it didn't work for you? When you car had all of that crap from that company that you have since removed?

TTM and OE Tuning doesn't have any issues with CEL's associated with catless cars but these solutions have worked on all of the cars that had one particular "tuners" file installed and also works on cars that have no tune at all.

The issue with using these extensions is the opening on the extension is too large and it will get very similar exhaust pulses/flow even being out of the direct exhaust stream.

While the theory is similar, the bottom of the oxygen sensors have a sealing/tapered edge on the top of the threads and it will not seal properly against a washer and will allow outside air to get pulled into the exhaust stream and give a poor O2 reading.

I bought some off ebay and there actually on the car now. After talking to Cory at kleemann he told me that wont work on our cars also.

Either way I tried this setup and got cat efficiency codes on both banks. If someone had a proven way to not get the codes is cool too.

It sucks to run catless, not because of emissions, but because it smells pretty bad
