What the heck is INDUCTION CLEANING ?
Service C due and dealer advised Induction cleaning ($170) so what the heck is it and shall i get it done ?

06 E55, 03FORD P/S,01 E320-4M,99 ML320,O4 E55,05 RUBICON UNLIMITED,
induction cleaning is where they introduce a chemical into your fuel rail to clean the injectors.You disconnect the fuel pump,run the car on this chemical till it runs out, reconnect fuel pump and on some services they pour a bottle of techron or fuel cleaner in your tank.worth it? you decide,I say no.

When owners reach for the ankle and the dealers starts to clean you out. lol!
