Did you start it? If you did and she idled and nothing, sensor trouble for sure.

Gotta start it.

I dunno you guys. Could his car be SO low, sensor is not picking up oil level anymore?

No I didn't because I thought the engine needed to be off like it does for the non dyno test

Whoa

Okay, I still say let's deal with the small stuff and then worry bout the bigger stuff if this doesn't work.

I would swap out the oil sensor and drain and refill oil for sure.

I have been through 2 sensors like Mikey. After I added 3 qts, I got spooked and swapped out the sensor and refilled with oil. Been fine since.

Keep fingers crossed.

Not sure if this is best price, but here is what it looks like. Snag O Ring too.

drain it and start with 8qts then top off with the last qt then you can make a call on the sensor. no way you could have burnt off that much oil and you would have seen puddles if there was a leak...

Changed the oil. Put in 9 quarts. Car still running rough... Scanned for codes and multiple misfires on cylinder 2. Cleared the code and same results. Misfired right away. Bought some fuel inj cleaner.... What now ?

Pull the spark plugs and/or swap the coil to another cylinder. Could also be a bad injector. Don't jump to the worse case senario without doing some more investigating.

Yeah. I'm gonna check the plugs tomorrow. What do u guys suggest as replacement plugs? Obviously I assume not to head to the stealership....

Weird how this happened at the same time as the low oil issue.

Post up pictures of the plugs in cylinder #2. The plugs will tell a detailed story.

Perhaps not. The worse case scenario...which happened to me...was very much similar to your situation as well.

I just had that. invoice was front oil pan leaking, They removed engine oil, remove under sheilds, remove bolts for lower engine mount, disconnect power steering lines steering rack, raise engine, loosen oil cooler lines, remove forward lower cover for oil pan, clean sealing surfaces, reseal.

My other oil leak a month before was oil cooler lines leaking from engine oil pump.

This should help:

Arrow points to the front of the engine. So, passenger side bank, second piston in from the front.

Here is a link. Essentially a lot of oil being consumed...plugs fowled out with oil...and a lot of missfire codes thrown.

At this point, I would swap coil packs from another cyl, and throw in a couple plugs but then at some point, you have to do a compression test.

Glad kjlindgr is on this thread now. Guys a genius.

Wow, that's scary. Hopefully I'm just dealing with bad plugs or a shot coil... I'm definitely purchasing an aftermarket warranty asap

Yeah. I'm going to check the plugs tonight, and swap a coil. I kno u can go to autozone and they scan codes but does anyone know if u can rent their scan tool.

Very thankful for this forum. Very happy with this community and am grateful for all the help everyone has provided so far.

I would recommend buying your own scanner/logger.
An open end 17mm(iirc) wrench will be a big help removing the wires from the plugs.

They don't rent them from what I know, but you can use them in the parking lot to scan your codes.

And yes, a 17mm box wrench makes a good lever to pry the spark plug boots off with.
