+1. I drove mine all winter last year with absolutely NO issues. I use Togo Proxes 4s for winter time and no drama at all. If you have driven a rear wheel drive car in winter before you will be fine.
Regards

I drive mine in New England winters. With some snow tires, its not bad at all. These cars have some heft so they do pretty good in the snow. Just layoff the throttle a bit.

I've driven the E55 through two New England winters and I had some crappy Bridgeston Blizzak LM25 at the time and it was fine.

I did it last year here in Buffalo, NY without snow tires - I made it out alive, but I wouldnt recommend it.

Im looking for a winter truck, or might move down to Florida for the winter months.

I drove in the snow every chance I got down here in NC (which was about twice last winter). I had a blast. Handles much better than I thought it would. It had been a while since I drove a rear wheel drive vehicle in the snow so I babied it at first, but once I got used to it, traction control came off and I had a blast. I must admit, I lived in northwestern PA prior to moving down here to NC, so I had a ton of experience driving in the snow before...

as others have said with snow tires its not bad at all, as long as the snow is 6 inches or less. anymore and you cant keep it parked.

When I had mine, I drove it through 2 Canadian winters. I almost died with the Continental All Seasons that the car came with. I switched up to Nokian Hakkapellita on the first winter but I didnt like the non-staggered tire setup on my stock staggered wheels so the next winter I switched to Dunlop Winters and it drove amazing in the snow in 245/40/18 and 265/35/18.

I drive mine in the Utah winters. Blizzaks on the rear, Goodyear Eagle snows on the front. It definitely requires you to drive with <= 30% throttle pretty much all the time, but the car gets around fine. Gotta wash it frequently though so the salt doesn't stay on the car.
