E55 then E63, now back to an E55

HOT.....
though the exhaust tips need to be powdercoated black as well.

I seem to remember a silver car that ACGSD did, no pics on this thread yet

I notice your door handles are still chrome.
They are the only thing chrome on my car right now, but I heard they're a bytch to take off & apart. Plus mine have keyless go - I really don't want to fukk around with that....
Too bad there's not an easier way, as I would like mine black...
They come off in 30 seconds if you know what you are doing. Door open, in from side - BOOM, mask them off, rough them up- spray. done

I have not done this, however ACG replaced one of mine, and did it in a minute. 30 seconds off - 30 seconds on

It sounded like you wanted to take off your door handles to paint them. The shop took mine off in about 30 seconds. They went in the side of the door jam, with a screwdriver of some type. It looked like they loosened something, or pressed a clip, and the handle slipped right out.

My goal was to confirm for you it could be done, and that it was any easy process, if you know how to do it. I am not sure how to do it, but if I wanted my hadles off, I would start poking around

Can I ask where you guys are getting your vinyl to cover the chrome? I saw the other link for the headlights, but the only matte they sold, which is what I think I want, it a huge expensive roll.

Looks awesome. Are those 19s or 20s? I'd love to put those on mine - have them on another ride already.
