Hello William,

I had a conversation with our General Manager and he was very pleased. He also wanted me to share that he really appreciated the E-mail that you sent to MBUSA. The AMG club has a home here at Euro. Thanks again for providing us with the opportunity.

Regards,

Brian
Yullie looks like you have established a good relationship with them. Maybe you can do a Spring AMG open house for 2011, like in March...maybe combine that with a car show and a DIY and reception? Just some ideas...

well done

I had a conversation with Brian Butler (Euromotorcars of Bethesda) today, to throw around some ideas for the next AMG event. I asked him, if the Management has expressed any interests to him yet, and he said not yet. But the good news is that next Wed, Steve Erlichman (AMG Training Manager for North America) will be present to discuss some of my ideas for the "Tech Sessions" among other things. Brian mentioned that their going to have a big Management meeting come Jan 3rd, to plan for next years events at the dealership, and I'm invited. The best news is that their opened to alot of my ideas, for future AMG Club events. So I'm throwing out a feeler, to gauge what interests my fellow AMG owners wants to see at our next event, so they can start planning for it? Good, bad or indifferent? All ideas will be entertained for possible inception. So please tell me you think?

I plan to be there for any of your events after mid January, if I'm in town or not obligated to something on those dates. Ask them to throw an event for us, maybe a car show or something, where they give out free stuff and gift certificates!!!

Sunir,

I'm with you, who doesn't like free stuff. They talked about hosting a Formula One event at the dealership, where there is food and drinks, for the season opening race. I even mentioned a raffle for a AMG items, like ball cap, jacket from their boutique, as a door price.

That's funny you mentioned that. Because, I attend the New Owners Clinics, that is held every 3rd Thursday of the month at American Service Center, just so that I can talk to Jack about anything (Mercedes). He is the Resident AMG Master Tech and Shop Foreman and a Formula One fan like me. I'm also networking with the Management. Well one of the Managers that sees me there all the time, said that he would like to hiring me, as their Delivery Specialist. He says, that I know just as much if not more then some of his Techs, and Service Advisors..LOL. Basically, I would take the new owner, and show and explain everything about his or her car. I told Brian (Euromotorcars) about that, they could implement that for all future AMG buyers. And he agreed with me, and that will be brought up in the meeting schedule for next month. Of course they couldn't pay me what I'm getting paid by General Dynamics, but I could see it as a saturday job. We will see?

You never know until you ask. But that would be a great venue for it. When you come to the event, bring a toy with you. I would definitely support it.

Karlson,

I can't guarantee when that will be, because Euromotorcars is the host.
I know that the Formula One events will be on sunday, because that's when the race begins. But we have yet to work out next years event calender.

Well gentlemen, I will do my best. But please understand that the dealership has the final decision, of what they will or will not support. But I have bought the issue up about free gifts from their boutique, that they could raffle as the door prize, for (AMG) jackets, polo shirts, T-Shirts and ball caps. I haven't discuss gift certificates yet. But I'm working on the AMG Tech Sessions, and DIY events. I have allot of ideas in my head right now, trust me on this one. But please submit your suggestions, on what you would like, and I will pose them to the Management.

You may have better luck posting in the events/meets section than bumping a 7 year old thread.

Arise!

Seems like this faded to black.. did any more EuroMoto events happen, any AMG specific meets or is it all CnC events in the area now? Yuille if in 2010 you knew what you know now about F1 with AMG only being back in the sport for 1 year.. what a ride that was!

Your right about that. As for AMG events, I don't do those anymore. I took up way too much of my time, with coordinating those events with the GM's of each dealership, as well as MBUSA to get them to bring down a new AMG.
