ah, indeed, but how else are we going to race on the way up there! Then again your probably gonna be locked up from the escapades from the nights before lol......

Oh, and don't worry I have a few tricks up my sleeve as well!

Easy to say that you will race but getting in is almost as hard as getting the TIME.. Hadi has a good chance, as he will most likely be at a club drinking Stoli when the registration opens.. J/K

Only 5 months until the next event and MArch is the month for records! Better start getting car ready now, as it took me about that long to get all my details taken care of.. Then again parts are hard to come by on the CL..
We already started building the plans for the cars, and will get registration covered. We figured we could register all the cars going right when it opens.

Also Brooke, I'm going to need to pick your brain about a few things... I'll shoot you a PM bud.
Usually is, but they haven't released the date yet. It seems to be the last weekend in march, going on past events. I will definately keep you in the loop, so we can make it a massive Eurocharged effort with all the cars.

With everyone that has been PM'ing and stuff it is looking like we might have 8-9 cars running!

Awesome, thanks! Looking forward to this event big time. Ordered a bunch of stuff from Jerry last night for both the S55 and SLR.

1. Tow car to local freeway
2. Wait for darkness
3. Assmeble parts along guard rail
4. Place car at end of parts stream
4. Call cops and say: A cow just jumped out in front of me.. The conversation continues...

Cops. What is this parachute doing here?

Driver. I don't know, must have been the cows...

hopefully will see this same enthusiasm when we get close to the event
Like Brooke said it take a lot of prep work and dedication to run the mile safely. it is not something you can plan to do in a week.

loungn14 your going to need roughly 100more rwhp than exotic to make 185mph and 200 more to do 190mph. Plus your aero is not as clean as a CL.

According to Motor Trend the drag coefficients are as follows:

S55- .27
E55- .28
CL55- .29

I don't think that the aero difference with any of these 3 cars is that significant.

agreed, but I figured I would just follow him/draft right behind his run, then slingshot past ricky bobby style at the end!

You also have to look at frontal area, not just drag coefficient.

Some magazines show the E55 being more aerodynamic at 0.27cd versus the CL55's 0.29cd. Weight advantage also goes to the E55 at 4087 vs the CL55's 4317. It'll be interesting to see what happens in March.

your insurance will not cover any loss if your car was used in a race or speed test. Although you can buy endorsements for such purposes.

Talk about a tune
I wasn't there but let Marcin take my car. It has a new set up and turbos and isn't fully tuned yet. I guess we should make an announcement that we're testing and the car kept going into limp mode each pass......????
