Intake

Thinking of doing a custom intake. One of the reasons is to get the supercharger whine louder

Something along these line https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...black-e55.html..

What do you guys think?? Also what kind of tubing is this, and where would I be able to get it??

If you guys want that style of intake. I'll make it for you. It would take more than a day to make that style of intake. I plan on bringing my own intake system to the market made out of carbon fiber. However, I understand C/F can get pricey. So why not have a more affordable option. However i think it will suck in some hot air. PM me let me know if there is an interest. I can have it power coated, or polished. Let me know.

IDK mabe something like this

I'm sure there would be interest, of course depending on price. I'm just looking for something different without spend $500 just for C/F python tubes or a grand on an air box.

Exactly. We do plan on making a bunch of C/F stuff very soon. In fact I was in a meeting for 2 hours today working on a C/F project for Mercedes. However the price does get up there when it comes to C/F.. So, it would be nice to make something respectable for the guys who just don't feel comfortable spending the big bucks for C/F.

Im running a renntech air box and if you want I can do a test on your box at the 1/4 to see what it adds.I picked up almost 2 mph with the renntech box and now im positive my tb is a bottle neck now.

What are you looking to get for your intake?

Sorry im on my cell and its a pain to pm back.my guy charges about 150 to install a pulley depending on how long it takes to get it on.

My evotech took legit 40 min of me and him switching off and taking breaks because it was such a tight fit.At one point I said screw it and throw the vrp on there.

But we finally got it on snug and it has ZERO wobble lol thank god

Just hit me up this weekend when u can.the shop is private and only works on high end cars.it's like not open to the public.

Works on really expensive cars like an f40 with custom motec and huge lm turbos.

My e55 is like a pos when its in there lol
