What was the final verdict on this large H/E fitment on our cars? Anyone pull it off?

I got the 3.5" in my SRT6. Too cold out to see how well it cools however. I did have to cut some metal to make it fit (alot).

Great find.
No they are not. E55 is wider and wont fit CL/S class. Eurocharged makes for both models though.. The EC H/E is very well made and I know a lot of memebers running them with no problems at all..

The fitment was fine, looks agressive and yes it replaces the OEM HE I just used the instructions in the link from post #27. You have to take the bumper off to install this HE. Ive read that people have switched HE without taking the bumper off. I also would recommend getting an meziere pump too!

Edit: You have to move the oil cooler behind the HE aswell.

BTW you need fittings that run from the HE to the pump. Frozenboost does not provide them with the HE. I got some aluminum fittings from homedepot. Going to run a few more IAT test this weekend.

Im leaning towards this setup now, installing the he infront of the stock one... benefits over removing the stock and just installing the new one?
