what are you plans for the car? bigger pulley? I've personally seen a slightly higher effency with a aux HE in conjunction with the stocker

my plans are 500WHP. i was thinking either 178mm or 180mm pulley and a tune along with a cooling upgrade should get me there...
how does an AUX cooler get installed? is it just tapped into the stock lines and more coolant is added as well as a bigger pump? or do you separate the S/C cooling from the engine cooling?

pulley/tune/cooling will only get you in the mid 400's if your lucky
Your best bet would be to add a trunk tank with dual pumps, and seperate the cooling system.

Nice find. What I like about this h/e is that the dual pass appears to be setup to run front to back, as opposed to being split top/bottom.
Ideally you would want to run the water into the back half first, then the front half before exiting the h/e.
What is this out of?

So funny how universal the "heat soak" issue is with every platform that features factory supercharged cars. I used to own a chevy cobalt ss with the 2.0 liter supercharged motor and the big thing was upgrading your intake manifold endplate for dual-pass and option B (a second reservoir just for the HE coolant). Also, many were buying all kinds of aftermarket heat exchangers from CR racing and ZZP among others and many ran 03-04 mustang cobra factory HE's since they were readily available and affordable when found used. LFP heat exchangers were also a somewhat affordable upgrade seeing one could be had for under 300 I believe for the 03-04 cobra style.
