but to make the meziere pump work in my setup i had to put a T before the inlet of the pump and connect to it the small reservoir, cause the first time the pump work it must have more water coming from the small reservoir to push the return water to it. without the T and the aid of the small reservoir the pump did not get water to push it (in my setup).
after all, the high pressure of the meziere made my AIT rise, and i repeat in my setup(oem pipes diameter, no trunk reservoir).
Thats the way i have it, Pump attached to the tank.

W221 S65 AMG
WTF is up with MBenz and pumps? I had the same issue in my '03 E55 at 15K miles and now on my W221 S65 which has 9K miles.

IAT logging in 32 degree weather shows baseline temp after 15-30 minutes of normal driving at 115-130F and when I go through one redline IATs sore to 160F....this is in 32F temp!

What is happening is kind of strange...before a WOT pull IAT will be at ~125F then during WOT drop to 80-100F and then shoot up to 150-160F after 1-2 minutes.

Baseline dyno was 529 rwhp and 706 rwtq with A/F going below the 10.0 scale from 4-6K (redline). I just ordered the Meziere pump...hope it works but sounds like it may be too much and not pull the heat out of the water before it recirculates.
