I really dont think it will make a diference who is in control. They are politicians and they all lie cheat and steal and only look out for there own benefits. It always turns into a pissing match. I know one thing I cant wait till Weds so I can watch tv and not have to see all those mud slinging ads. It gets old and for me does not envoke much confidence in either party. It would be nice if they all could find a way to work together instead of pointing fingers at each other. Then and only then will this country start making some progress again. Just my thoughts.

I learned a long time ago to avoid politics and religion as discussions on forums (especially when I'm the newbie), so I'll pass on the temptation for some spirited chat (and yes, that sums up which side I'm on...lol).
I just hope that regardless of where we all fall as Americans, we can get past this hyper partisan BS and gridlock to do a better job moving forward together. Its not possible to all march hand in hand singing kumbaya, but we can certainly do a better job than we're all doing as Americans.

I just voted, despite hating everything there is to hate about all things politics.

The only thing I care about is removing these handcuffs that prevent "best treating" patients. It'd be nice if we can do that [which would improve healthcare] without further bankrupting America.

Here is my take on this whole political thing then I will leave it alone.
I thing us as americans have lot perspective. We all want that instant gratification. We all take the information that is handed or force fed to us and never do our due diligence and aquire all the facts. I will admit that I am not happy with the state of the country but it will not fix it's self overnight. We did not get here overnight. It will take time. My major concern is that in 2 years we will be screaming for the heads of those that were just elected. Our government is broken and has been broken for a long time not just the past 2 years. I do pray that all these politicians will be able to work together and find a true solution.
