SC belt has cut another coolant hose - 180mm pulley
I had a coolant leak couple months ago and had the dealer replace a hose that was leaking. Now it appears the exact same coolant hose blew out again. It has a slice in the hose right next to the SC belt. I was driving home when this happened and I went to accelerate and had little power. It was clear that something was wrong and definitely felt like the SC was off. The crank pulley is an ASP 180mm, which was installed this summer after a 172mm pulley grenaded. So once again, I have to have the car towed to the dealer.
Anyone heard of this problem before? The car has been driven less than 500 miles between replacing the last hose and this happening again. Would like to have a better understanding of the problem before talking to the dealer because I'm sure they will blame the pulley.
Here is a pic I took after turning off the engine, you can see the hose spraying straight out and of course the sc belt was covered in coolant along with the entire engine bay. It is the hose with the white lettering.

it seems like after the install of the pulley the hoses were not secured properly in their original location. one simple zip tie should have solved the problem

The hose was first replaced when the 172mm pulley broke and came off the hub. I was told the damage was a idler pulley and the hose when the new ASP 180mm pulley was installed. Then two months later I found a coolant leak and this hose was replaced again. The dealer said the hose was routed wrong. This made sense since it was replaced a couple months ago, but I figured this wouldn't happen again since the mechanic knew the situation when installing the new hose. Now I have the same problem once again. Everything looks fine, no wobble, no play in the belt, and the motor mounts were suppose to be replaced last year. Using a zip tie to pull the hose back was a thought, but I havent heard of this problem before.

Unfortunately there are always comprimises when using aftermarket parts.
