3rd brake lamp
Hi folks,great forum here,thanks for all the informations! So,yesterday when I started the engine,3rd brake lamp appeared on the cluster. I asked a friend of mine to press the brake pedal and,indeed,the brake lights from the middle of the trunk were all off. Can someone tell me what's happening,because I don't think all those small bulbs were "fried" instantly... Many thanks in advance !

one very common problem on the 211s is that the wires for the third brake light get broken and cause an open circuit. were the harness runs against the drivers side trunk arm they are ziptied to the arm near the bottom behind the panels. inspect the wiring and you will most likely find some wiring damage.
