W211 E55 owners come inside :)
Well I finally purchased my first E55 AMG today after coming from Ohio to Florida. iam driving back 1130 miles back to Ohio in a few hours and I will have pictures After its detailed. I just have to say Its a PURE pleasure already. I love the car. Its Everything I expected and more. Here she is Taped up for her voyage home LOL

I see you have an Evo VIII too. Are you keeping it? We are also AMG/Evo owners as we have an Evo IX and an E63. Great combination!

Thanks guys Iam about 4 Hours away from home been driving since 5:30 This morning. Its been trouble free so far. This Car Is unreal... Also Yes I do have an Evo 8 It makes close to 600Awhp. Its my other baby. Since the ride home I may be reconsidering which one i enjoy more!! lol Iall have Detailed Pictures After I detail it. Iam so happy with it..

Ummm, try being on the tail of a Z06 at 150mph and going over a ton of sand. Thank God for Venture Shield. New windshield coming soon.

Good job on the tape! 
I did the same right when I got the car and took a trip down to Las Vegas. I had half the hood forward taped.
Now, I don't really mind the rock chips, I drive the car and get them. What to do? Just wait til I get a few of them and then repaint the bumper.

Thanks guys. Its A beautiful car. I love the Tectile Gray. Its my favorite color beicides white w/ pano. The car needs Engine mounts, trans mount, lower balljoints, and for some reason the right side speaker channel is not working...?? pass f/t and pass rear door do not do anything. But Iam going to try to get It figured out. Going to MB tommrow to pick up the mounts, transmission pan gasket, fluid and filter.

That's dedication, taping all that shyt off.....
I would have said the Grille may get chipped as well, however the car needs to breathe.
For future reference, Griot's Garage makes a clear one-time use protective shield. Comes in a big roll. Don't get air bubbles in it when applying, and of course it's not nearly as noticeable as tape.
HRE Wheels look hot, congrats.
