When will the E55 have a 6 speed

When will the E55 have a 6 speed

And is it worth waiting.

We hear stories that the 6 speed will be there, but will it be there for the E55 with that massive torque!

If you want a manual you best buy up one of the last M5's.

CLARIFICATION - 6 Speed Automatic

There is talk of a 6 speed AUTOMATIC -- Due for the E500 in 2005 -- I was wondering if there is a reasonable chance the E55 will get it too.

Starting with some 2004 models, Mercedes-Benz will switch to 7-speed automatic gearboxes.
