![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I have the S/C belt for my Brabus K8 Pully (don't know the size exactly) and I would like to change the belt. I am not sure which belt to use, I assume that it is no longer a MB belt. So, I have either to go with aftermarket one or any equivalent from other trade mark like some people when they use Jaguar belt.
The number on the Brabus belt are:
5000012 8PK 1338 8162-11377 E2
Can someone recommend me with a belt to use? I will need the Part number of that belt please.

This should be the size of the belt. 8PK 1338. This means 8 rib and 1338 is the length. Get a gates or continental belt. Here a good autoparts store has belts in almost all sizes and could match it for you if you brought it in.

Ok, sorry I have not updated this thread since long time. Thanx vioilio for who dropped me a message to ask me about the belt. Here are the links for the belt specs below, from me and from vioilio using amazon.

I researched the belt part number and was told it is specific to Brabus and can only be purchased through them. The Brabus part number should be under the hood on a Brabus sticker that recommends it be changed every 7500 miles/15000km. And they're not cheap. Let me know if you don't have the Brabus part number and I'll go look to see what it is. It is manufactured by Gates and there is no replacement.

The belt from Brabus is $195 + shipping.
The belt from Amazon is Gates K080525 V-Belt and it is a little smaller but I think this is good. It will help better with slippage. The price of it is $27.89 + free shipping.

The Gates K080525 V-Belt will be just fine .. Brabus dropped the price a little bit in the US for that belt
... it was 300 USD last time I asked my brother to check it there back in 2010.

Dear all, I am based in England, my S/C Belt on my Brabus SL is on its way out, reading this thread has been very useful. I have ordered the Gates belt from the U.S through Amazon!
